Tane is the "Teraflop analytisch-numerische Einheit" and ist an appropriate choice for all classes of jobs, especially for MPP jobs. Tane runs under control of the Torque/Maui batch system. Jobs for Tane can be sent from Orac or Avon, the login computers for the RRZN computing service.
