Liebe Nutzerinnen und Nutzer, vielen Dank für das große Interesse an unserem dem vorhin angekündigten Workshop. Er wird stattfinden am: Freitag, 04.11.2011 und den ganzen Tag dauern inkl. Kaffee-/Mittagspause(n). Alle, die sich bisher gemeldet haben, sind schon eingetragen. Wenn jemand an dem Freitag jetzt doch nicht kann, bitte kurz Bescheid sagen. Der Workshop wird auf Englisch stattfinden. Die Zahl der Teilnehmer ist begrenzt, weil im Hands-On Teil auch der eigene Code analysiert werden darf. Damit genug Zeit für jeden Teilnehmer bleibt, sollen es ca 15 Personen (max 20) werden. Es sind nur noch wenige Plätze frei, also noch schnell Platz sichern unter css  rrzn.uni-hannover[dot]deZur Vorbereitung auf den Workshop können sich alle Linux-Freunde bei Intel schonmal die Produkte von Interesse besorgen und installieren: http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/non-commercial-software-download/ Desweiteren kann man seinen Code mitbringen, dann hat man mehr von der Veranstaltung. Der Trainer bringt aber auch (Windows-)Notebooks mit, auf denen man die ganze Intel-Tool-Palette zum Ausprobieren vorfindet. Auf einen coolen Workshop! Euer Cluster-Team ====================================================================== Dear users, thank you for you interest in the Intel Vtune workshop that was announced earlier this day. It will take place on Friday, Nov 4th (full day, with lunch break etc) All of you, who have shown interest, are already included on the list of particiants. If someone cannot make it on that particular Friday, please write to me. The workshop will be held in English. The number of participants is limited to 15 (max 20). In the hands-on part you can analyze your own code with the Intel tools and the teacher will assist you with that. There are only a few seats left, so if you are interested, write to css rrzn.uni-hannover[dot]de as soon as possible to get you reservation.As a preparation all Linux users can download and install some of the Intel tools for free at http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/non-commercial-software-download/ Bring your own code to the workshop! The experience will be more intense ans you will have more fun! There will be (Windows) laptops available with all the Intel tools installed (the trainer brings them along).
